Whitmans Chocolate Fudge

Ingredients:

1 5 oz glass Whitman’s Marshmallow whip
¼ lb Unsweetened chocolate
2/3 c evaporated milk
1 lb XXXX sugar
1 tbsp butter
¼ tsp salt

Directions:

Break chocolate into small pieces. Place all ingredients except whip and vanilla
In cooking pan
When mixture starts to boil, cook for 10 minutes
Remove from fire and let cool for 5 minutes
Add Marshmallow whip and 1 tsp Vanilla
Beat vigorously for approx 8 minutes
Pour into buttered pan and when cool cut into squares
Makes 1 ½ lb fudge
Chopped nutmeats may be added
